Challenge Duration: 7 days physical challenge (kayaking) + 6 days in-country project work
Physical Rating: Moderate
Max Group size: Maximum 15 ChallengersAfter completing a fundraising challenge and a 7 day physical challenge kayaking around Kadavu and Ono Islands, southwest of Fiji, participants will then engage in range of activities to support CUFA’s in-country project work. The final challenge is to commit to 100 hours of voluntary community work in their local community once returning from Fiji.“This was the most rewarding professional or personal learning experience that I have ever taken part in. I have learnt valuable lessons and skills along this journey but none more so than it is okay to have self confidence, self pride and an “I can do it” attitude. It is an experience that I would recommend to all Credit Union staff if they were to have the opportunity.”

The CUFA Leadership Challenge Series delivers a range of benefits to the individual Challengers and the sponsoring organisation by engaging in real and lasting in-country project work to support disadvantaged communities, the opportunity to motivate staff, develop skills and increase employee satisfaction and is a rewarding and real example of your organisations commitment to corporate social responsibility. The funds raised by the Challengers will support the Oceanic Confederation of Credit Union Leagues (OCCUL)
