CUFA sustainability reporting captures our social, environmental and economic performance and through this demonstrates our commitment to sustainability. We are very proud of our results, which we believe will inspire credit unions to engage and report upon their CSR activities.

We believe that we, as with any other organisation, need to be accountable towards our stakeholders. As a not-for-profit organisation with a social aim, it is just as important to be transparent as it is for a large financial corporation.

Many people, including our partners and donors, put their faith in us and in our work to achieve real difference for communities; we want to show them that that is exactly what we do. We are only small in terms of reporting companies.

But we know that in all we do, we impact on the wider society, and that is reason enough for us to report on what we do, and set future goals.

We used the CSR toolkits reporting function to do this, and hope both small and large credit unions will do the same. We want to show that everyone can report, even small organisations.
