What is the Toolkit?

The Toolkit is a web based CSR education and reporting tool. It provides information regarding scoping and implimentation, best practice CSR initiatives, case studies, and a system to capture and store the CSR activities and data of credit unions.

Credit Unions can access the Toolkit once they have been briefed by CUFA. Visit the Toolkit at cufa.com.au. CUFA will undertake a social and environmental audit of credit unions based on the data obtained from the CSR Toolkit - the first time the sector's activities could be scoped and measured.

CSR initiatives are already happening - CUFA acknowledges that credit unions have been conducting socially responsible activities within their branches and local communities for many years. However, this information has rarely been captured or reported. The reports generated from the Toolkit will enable members to share their experiences and learn about best practices.
