   182/2007 Credit Union engagement with CUFA 2007/2008

Credit Union Foundation Australia (CUFA) seeks to engage more effectively with Australian credit unions to deliver reputation and social capital gains through widespread program participation.

In the next year, CUFA’ domestic activity will continue to focus on delivering value straight into credit union’s triple bottom-line by:

- Building ownership of the in-country programs funded by contributions,
- Fostering corporate responsibility and sustainability principles and outcomes,
- Facilitating activities that benefit business, members and community.

CUFA will achieve these by

- Continuing research and development of programs that add value to credit unions,
- Supporting engagement with action planning to ensure that program utilisation is business scale appropriate, efficient and delivers payback to the credit union.

CUFA encourages each credit union to review our program profile and maximise opportunities that exist - indicating programs of interest by nominating an appropriate contact, for CUFA to provide appropriate support of required programs.

Program Profiles have been sent by email to all credit unions - a generic profile can be downloaded here for completion, or a profile reflecting the credit unions current engagement with CUFA can be requested.
