   444/2006 Governor General Becomes a Patron of the Credit Union Foundation of Australia

Governor General Becomes a Patron of the Credit Union Foundation of Australia. His Excellency Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, has accepted an invitation to become a Patron of CUFA.

There is a desire to raise CUFA’s profile amongst credit union staff and management as well as credit union members. To do this CUFA in conjunction with the Governor General is planning to host a number of events in the future, which will provide greater visibility for the work of CUFA.

Credit unions will be notified of any future events through national bulletins.
