   430/2006 Changes to CUFA Directors

It has been the longstanding practice of the Cuscal Board to ensure that there is at least one Cuscal Director on the Board of the Credit Union Foundation Australia (CUFA).

Following the retirement of Neville Parsons from the Cuscal Board at the most recent Cuscal Ltd Annual General Meeting it has been necessary to review the Cuscal Board's nominee on the CUFA Board.

Following this review, credit unions are informed that the Cuscal Board has appointed John Baistow to fill the position on the CUFA Board, which was previously occupied by Neville Parsons.

This decision has been made by the Cuscal Board within the context of its view that formal custodianship of CUFA should transition to Abacus - Australian Mutuals and its Board within the short to medium term, as appropriate.

The Cuscal Board wishes to formally recognise the substantial contribution by Neville Parsons as a Director and Chair with CUFA over the last 13 years.
