   220/2006 Credit Unions recognise CUFA's program of renewal

Credit unions have recognised the changes that have occurred at CUFA and increased their financial contributions by 34% on last year.

CUFA has undertaken a bold program of reform and renewal and has initiated a range of innovative programs and new ways of working. This past year has seen CUFA undertake work to benefit credit unions with the launch of the Corporate Social Responsibility Toolkit along with work on the web based financial literacy program to be released in August.

CUFA has also sharpened its focus on the International projects implementing better processes to monitor, evaluate and communicate the outcomes and activities credit unions fund in the Asia Pacific region. Working with John Gilbert CUFA has also been able to develop a partnership arrangement with WOCCU to work in the region. CUFA thanks credit unions for their generous financial support.

This increased support will help CUFA continue and improve the projects.
